Security Deposit
- Residential Properties – 5 Weeks Rent per tenancy
- Student Rooms – £300 per tenancy
Security Deposits are protected and held independently during the tenancy by the Deposit Protection Service – Custodial Scheme unless otherwise stated
Your security deposits should be refunded to you in full at the end of the tenancy unless your landlord has a reason to make deductions. (see full tenancy agreement for defined deductions)
Additional Tenant Expenses
The additional costs that the Tenant may incur are strictly regulated by the Tenant Fees Act 2019, however, the following costs may apply in addition to the rent.
Tenancy Change requested by Tenant: Charge per Change, £50.00 inc VAT
Replacement Standard Key cutting: Actual Cost
Replacement Specialist Key or Fob: Actual Cost
Call out for lost keys during office hours: per call out £15.00 inc VAT
Call out for lost keys outside office hours: per call out £22.50 inc VAT
The interest rate on overdue rent, by 14 days: Bank of England Base Rate plus 3%
Third-party costs incurred from overdue rent payments: per incident, Actual Cost
All amounts include VAT (if applicable) and are subject to change.
